Updates & Fixes

We're always listening to subscriber feedback! Today we pushed two highly-requested usability fixes:

First, clicking the empty black space outside of a story card will now instantly close the story and return you to the feed. Second, we fixed a frustrating bug where returning to the feed would reset your scroll position to the top of the page. You'll now snap right back to exactly where you left off.

We also cleaned up the onboarding tutorial to reflect our current premium features.

The SON Daily Podcast is now fully integrated. You can listen to the latest daily briefing covering the most critical stories across the media spectrum directly from the new Podcast page in the app, or wherever you get your podcasts.

Short on time? We introduced the "5-Min Summary" feature. Tap the button at the top of the feed to get the top 5 most important facts of the day stripped out and emailed straight to your inbox instantly.

Premium subscribers can now use the Deep Dive search feature. Investigate any topic with multi-source AI analysis and trace the origins of narratives across the entire media ecosystem.

Major ongoing stories now get pinned to the top of your feed. These threads dynamically collect all related coverage from the left and right and update automatically, so you can follow a developing story without having to dig for it.
